A9 Dualling: Dayshift traffic management on A9 Pitlochry to Killiecrankie

Temporary traffic management and speed restrictions will be in operation on the A9 to construct improvements to the existing Faskally Forest access located north of Pitlochry.

Road users are advised that temporary traffic signals will be in operation  from 10:00 on Tuesday 28th April until 16:00 hrs.

The current 30mph speed limit will still be in place over the extent of the work.

The speed restriction and traffic signals will allow construction of improvement works to the existing Faskally Forest access to safely take place adjacent to the A9 carriageway.

These works, and the associated traffic management measures, are essential to ensure the safety of both road users and the workforce, as activities will be carried out close to live traffic on the A9.

Works have been planned out with the rush hours period to minimise disruption to A9 road users, and the signals will be manned at all times to help manage traffic flow and minimise disruption.

Pedestrian and emergency service access will be maintained at all times.

Please note that these dates may change depending on weather conditions.
