Our contracts will require construction to be carried out in a manner that aims to minimise disruption for road users and residents. Traffic management measures, such as speed limits and coned-off areas are necessary to protect both road users and road workers. Our contractors will be required to:
Contractors will be incentivised to bring dualled lengths of the road into operation on a phased basis where possible once works on those phases are complete , even if work on other phases of their contract are ongoing.
