Location
On the A9 between Tomatin and Moy.
Description
Essential maintenance works will take place on the A9 carriageway as a result of recent poor weather in January.
During this period, temporary traffic signals will be in place at various locations throughout the project area with a convoy system in place to escort road users safely through the works, led by a convoy vehicle.
Road users should note that the set of temporary traffic signals in place to support ongoing planned drainage works in the Dalmagarry and Moy areas will remain in place and operational during this period and therefore two sets of traffic signals will be encountered while the essential maintenance works are ongoing.
Delays are expected to be minimal, with works taking place overnight, however, both sets of signals will be manned at all times to help manage traffic flow and minimise disruption.
Date and time:
The overnight traffic signals and convoy system will be in place between 19:30 and 06:30 on Monday 9 February for three nights finishing at 06:30 on Thursday 12 February on the A9 between Tomatin and Moy.
